Abstract: Field experiment was set up in Cikarawang, Darmaga Bogor, Indonesia from December 2010 to April 2011. The objective of the study was to investigate the effect of chicken manure, rice straw, and green manure of Tithonia diversifolia with the application of decomposer, i.e. chicken manure liquid, chicken manure + Tithonia diversifolia liquids, and biofertilizer under organic farming system. A randomized block design was laid out with organic materials (chicken manure, rice straw and green manure of Tithonia diversifolia) as the first factor and decomposers (chicken manure liquid, chicken manure + Tithonia diversifolia liquid, and biofertilizer) as the second factor. The results showed that chicken manure gave the best effect on soybean growth and production. Soybean productivities from organic treatment chicken manure, green manure of Tithonia diversifolia, and rice straw were 1.00, 0.85, and 0.73 ton dry seed ha-1, respectively. Biofertilizer gave better response on soybean growth and production components than chicken manure + Tithonia diversifolia liquid, chicken manure liquid and control, i.e. 089, 088, 0.82, and 0.98 ton dry seed ha-1, respectively.
