Decline of leatherback population in Jamursba Medi and Wermon beach in the last 10 years, has impact stock leatherback populations in the Western Pacific. Environmental and social antropogenic factors were be fathomed on population decline, especially the number of individuals and the number of new individual adults. This study aims to determine the status utilization of leatherback populations, vulnerability index, and recommendations in the implementation of best management scenarios sustainability Abun marine protected area as protection of the leatherback habitats and these population. Result explicates that currently these status has categorized in endangered and be beased non determental finding reveals that utilization of leatherback does not lead to sustainability. Composite performance of these vurnerable index framing in Jamursba Medi is at the level of medium vurnerable (0.486) and Wermon is at the level of high vurnerable (0.616). Social influences of anthropogenic be one of the greatest threats to the environment in addition to population decline. The threat is indicated by the high activity of egg collection, hunting the adults of the community within and outside marine protected area, as the north sea islands, Manokwari and Southeast Maluku. In addition to direct use of bycatch from commercial fisheries are also factors leatherback population decline. Furthermore, directly use through co-catching from comersial fishery operations was also be a decreasing factor of leatherback population. Based the results it is recommended several scenarios through tradeoff analysis approach. Both of sub model environmental integration and social antropogenic scenarios are selected and considered as the best with the quality value of 66.03. It are which in turn encouraged in sustainable implementation of Abun MPA.en
