Abstract: Lactating goats need more nutritients than other goats in difference physiological condition. Addition concentrates or supplements on their diets improve nutrient availability, intake and production performance. This research aimed at evaluating feed intake, nutrient digestibility, milk yield and its quality in goats offered a complete diet with or without soybean roasted, vitamin and mineral supplement. Two groups of four Etawah Grade goats in various lactating period and milk yield were used. They were offered either basal diet as treatment 1 or basal diet supplemented with soybean roasted, vitamin A, D3 Keyword: etawah grade goats, nutrient, digestibility, milk yield , E, organic Cr and Se as treatment 2. Each goat was kept in an individual cage facilitated with a faecal colector. Data collected was subjected to T-test and regression analysis. All variables tested in treatment 1 goat and treatment 2 goat were not significantly different (P> 0.05). The soybean roasted and supplementation of vitamins and minerals did not neither different nutrient intake, nutrient digestibility nor milk production. The variables observed had high variability. It was proved that the nutrient requirement of lactating goats was fullfiled by feeding complate diets without or with soybean roasted and supplement of vitamin and mineral, since the productivity of goats obeserved was low. Soybean roasted, vitamin and mineral suplement added was not necessary when a complete diet was offered.
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni hingga September 2011 di Peternakan Darul Fallah – Ciampea Bogor dan Laboratorium Ilmu Nutrisi Ternak, Laboratorium Ilmu dan Teknologi Pakan, Departemen Ilmu Nutrisi dan Teknologi Pakan, Laboratorium Teknologi Pengolahan Hasil Ternak, Fakultas Peternakan, Institut Pertanian Bogor. Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan konsumsi dan kecernaan pakan, performa produksi dan kualitas susu kambing yang mendapat ransum tanpa (perlakuan 1) atau dengan penambahan kedelai sangrai, suplemen vitamin A, D3 Delapan kambing peranakan Etawah dijadikan dua kelompok dan masing-masing diberi ransum perlakuan 1 atau perlakuan 2. Peubah yang diukur adalah konsumsi nutrien, kecernaan nutrien, produksi susu dan komposisinya. Data diolah menggunakan uji nilai tengah (Uji-T). , E serta mineral Cr organik dan Se (perlakuan 2).
