dc.description.abstractRegion of coastal area of Semarang represents the region with the solid activity complexity. The complexity activities caused the level of pressure at the region. Environmental damage have been seen. Phenomenon that happened until now is tidal floods called rob. If tidal floods handling install is not systematic, estimated Semarang will sink. The aims of this study was to identife social ecological system dynamics, to estimate ecological impact and economic social, to compile indication strategy of management of coastal area base on the adaptation to tidal floods.The result showed that pursuant to historical analysis shows that tidal floods increased in the case of height irrigate and also spread area affected, pond tidal flood resulted the change of structure of social condition and space of area economics affected, analyse the scenario that the development embank the sea (seawall) with the environmental management with of cultivation mangrove alongside embank and drainage basin in physical represent the effective solution in area management. Tidal floods gived magnitude effects not for human and all activities but for the region and ecological system.en
