Effect of Using Broiler Farm Fertilizer with Adding Aclinop in Feed and Zeolite on Litter to Growth and Productivity of Bangun-bangun (Coleus amboinicus, L.)

Abstract

This research aims to measure the effects of fertilizer application of zeolite-containing litter on the growth and production of Coleus amboinicus Lour. The experiment model was a Randomized Completely Design with factorial pattern (12x3) with 2 factors. The first factor was a standard provision of aclinop on the feed, ie, R0 = control, R1 = addition of 1 kg aclinop on the feed R2 = addition of 2 kg aclinop on the feed, and R3 = addition of 3 kg aclinop on the feed. The second factor was the level of provision of the zeolite on the litter, ie, L0 = control, L1 = addition of 2.5 kg of zeolite on the litter, L2 = addition of 5 kg of zeolite on the litter. Observed variable were the growth of plant height, growth in the number of leaves, leaf dry weight, dry weight of stems and roots. The results obtained were in period 1, factor 1 very significant (P <0.01) to increase the number of leaves. In the second period, factor 1 significant effect (P <0.05) against the increase in leaf and stem dry weight, and the very significant effect of the elongation of high yields and leaf dry weight and the factor 2 significant effect (P <0.05) of the elongation plant height.

Ekskreta ayam broiler yang menumpuk pada litter basah, seringkali menjadi penyebab penyakit karena merupakan media pertumbuhan yang baik bagi mikroorganisme bibit penyakit seperti virus, bakteri, telur cacing dan lainnya. Oleh karena itu diperlukan upaya pengurangan limbah tersebut melalui pemanfaatannya sebagai pupuk. Pupuk merupakan bagian penting bagi pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman. Tanpa pupuk, tanaman tidak dapat tumbuh dan berkembang dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari dan mengetahui efek pemberian pupuk dari hasil pemeliharaan ayam broiler yang diberi aclinop pada ransumnya dan zeolit pada litternya terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman bangun-bangun (Coleus amboinicus, Lour.).
