Scaptodrosophila (Drosophilidae) is insect visiting male flower of oil palm. This study addressed to study population of the Scaptodrosophila in male flower of oil palm (E. guineensis) and weather elements that affected their population. Scaptodrosophila population were observed by scanning method in male flowers spikelet in April, May, and June 2012. Weather element, i.e., air temperature, light intensity, and relative humidity were measured. Relationship between weather element and Scaptodrosophila population were analyzed by scatter plot, korelasi Pearson, and biplot using SPSS 16.0 and Minitab 16. Results showed that population of Scaptodrosophila was highest at noon (102 individual/bunch) and lowest at afternoon (88 individual/bunch). In June, population of Scaptodrosophila was highest (167 individual/bunch) and lowest in April (16 individual/ bunch). Light intensity and air temperature correlated positively with population of Scaptodrosophila.en
