Implementation Landscape Process of Rumbai Sport Center at Riau (Internship at Nidya-TWW JO)

Abstract

The 18th Pekan Olahraga Nasional will be held in Riau Province. The Riau Government proclaimed to concentrate the sport events into a sport center. Sport Center Rumbai (SCR) has been built in stages, starting from 2008 and now it has established five venues that will be used in PON XVIII championship. As a sport center, SCR must be representative in accommodating it’s users and their security in accordance to the basic standards. SCR is structuring area facilities and infrastructure development work that consist of hardscape and softscape jobs. Implementation of SCR project is handled by Nindya-TWW Jo, which is a collaboration between two experienced company engaged in construction sector. It is neccessary to study the landscape implementation process. Implementation (construction) is performed after the stage of planning and design process is completed. By doing an internship program at Nindya-TWW Jo, student learned about landscape implementation process, especially softscape work in the sport center construction. Student is involved in SCR project by supervising the softscape implementation in the field and studio work. The product of this internship are shopdrawings, letters of administration related to implementation process and recomendation.

Sport Center Rumbai (SCR) adalah pusat kegiatan olahraga di Jalan Yos Sudarso, Rumbai, Kota Pekanbaru, memiliki luas 34 hektar (ha) yang terdiri dari 5 venues, yaitu: Stadion Bola Kaharuddin Nasution, Stadion Atletik, Gelanggang Aquatic, Hall Senam dan Hall Basket. Proyek Penataan Kawasan Sport Center Rumbai adalah proyek konstruksi yang dibangun dalam rangka persiapan PON 2012, untuk melengkapi fasilitas dan sarana umum agar gedung-gedung olahraga dalam suatu kawasan sport center terintegrasi satu sama lain. Proyek ini dilaksanakan oleh perusahaan konstruksi PT. Nindya Karya dan PT. Tuju Wali Wali yang melakukan Joint Operation dengan nama kemitraan Nindya-TWW, JO. Proyek Penataan Kawasan SCR yang ditangani Nindya-TWW, JO terdiri dari 9 item pekerjaan, yaitu: (1) pekerjaan pendahuluan, (2) pekerjaan pagar, (3) pekerjaan area parkir, (4) pekerjaan drainase, (5) pekerjaan Mekanikal-Elektrikal (ME), (6) pekerjaan jalan aspal, (7) pekerjaan pintu gerbang, (8) pekerjaan bangku taman, dan (9) pekerjaan taman atau softscape.
