Abstract: The goals of this research are to analyze family area, school area, and society area that influence of student gender perception and then to know the different influence factors from family area, school area and society area about student gender perception. Mother education and parenting are represent family area, choice about study major, books, teacher education are represent school area, culture and peer group are represent society area, and three of them have different factors that influence of student gender perception that have to know. This research has done in STEI TAZKIA where place the sample come from with the condition their mother have passed the high education. Generally, even though have the high education but the gender perception is still low. This reality has different with what happened in STEI TAZKIA. STEI TAZKIA students have the high gender perception. Those facts are the good reason to do research in STEI TAZKIA. The results of this research are generally student gender perceptions do not come from the family area, but student gender perception come from school area and society area. Books, teacher education (school area) and peer group (society area) more influence student gender perception than mother education, parenting and culture. But there are different results from boy and girl students’ gender perception. The results of this research proofed that the influence boy students gender perception come from school area (from their teacher) and society area (from their friends) because the boy students have much spend them time in school area with them teachers and in society area with them friends, different with the girl students that the influence gender perception come from family area (from their mother), because the girl students much spend them time in family area with them mother so the girl students accept much gender education from their mother.
