dc.description.abstractThis paper presents scientific information concerning phsysical, mechanical, and biodegradability ji-om subterranean termites (Coptotermes curvignathus) properties of six types composite board product. They consist of composite board made ji-om wood waste and bamboo mat, MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard), OSB (Oriented Strandboard), particle board, plywood and blockboard. The samples of composite board materials were collected ji-om previous research and wood material shop at Klender, Jakarta. The research results are as follows: (J) composite board made .from wood waste and bamboo mat performed the best quality compared to those of others (MDF, OSB, plywood, blockboard, particle board). (2) Composite board made .from wood waste and bamboo mat and MDF fulfilled the test standard established by JIS A 5908:2003 and JIS A 5905:2003, respectively. (3) Composite board }i·om wood waste and bamboo mat is feasible for general use as same as the other five types of composite boardfor forniture, building material, raw material.en
