Abstract: The most important data in horticulture were harvest area, production and productivity. During this period of time, horticulture productivity data was calculated based on harvested area and production. Harvest area and production data was collected through an agricultural survey by interview and eyes estimate method. However, the data obtained was not valid and accurate statistically due to causing bias. Under these conditions, the productivity data collection method was developed directly by enumeration method clumps (clump counting). Clump counting is a method of measuring productivity by calculating productivity of plants in selected clump. In the field, measuring horticulture productivity faced many problem especially for measuring productivity with harvest repeatedly, such as chili. The productivity of chili can be estimated by modeling the pattern of productivity of each crop at harvest period. Estimation productivity of chili in Kabupaten Cianjur in tri wulan II was 4.696 ton/ha. Estimated that was carried out with sampling and used all harvest time produced bias but relatively small revolved between 0.02 to 0.07 ton/ha. In the measuring for sample size 110 produced RSE 5.46 %. Productivity estimation can be performed using specific harvest time (one time, two times, three times) with the proviso that the amount of harvest known. Alleged productivity using two times of harvest on sample size 50 produced relatively small range of varians and bias.
