It is believed that people like to consume fatty and salty food which lead to hypertension. They used antihypertensive drug to control hypertension, however, intolerant side effects could appear. It brings them to find another healing like Indonesian herbs. The aim of this research was examine the antihypertensive potency of aqueous and hexane fraction of brucea fruit. This research used 2 months old Sprague Dawley male rats which hypertensived by adrenaline injection. The ripe brucea fruit was used in this research. At the beginning, researcher oriented the respon time of samples. Systolic blood pressure was measured by indirect method. It used bisoprolol’s dose which is 0.0714 mg/kg body’s weight as antihypertensive agent standart to samples as well. Hexane and aqueous fraction then bisoprolol achieved hypotension at minute 20th, 60th, and 80th via oral. Hypertensive effect of adrenaline was achieved at minute 20th via intraperitoneal. Both hexane and aquoeus fractions had antihypertensive potency because of its ability to decrease the raising of systolic blood pressure due to adrenaline about 27.66% and 34.40% higher than standart about 11.65%.en
