dc.description.abstractGenetic transformation of indica rice cultivar such as Ciherang, Inpari6, and Bio110 were successfully use Agrobacterium tumefaciens strain AGL1 contains SNAC1 gene and A.tumefaciens strain EHA105 contains HVA1 gene which introduced to scutellum tissue. The binery vector in both of A.tumefaciens contain hygromycin fosfotransferase (hpt) as selection marker gene. Efficiency of transformation for Ciherang was 5,69%, and for Inpari6 was 1,6%-5,88%. After regeneration stage, this transformation was produced 18 putative transgenic plants which resistance for hpt selection agent. The PCR analysis for transgenic plants shown that 14 plants contain hpt gene, consist of 7 Ciherang rice and 7 inpari6 rice.en
