Abstract: To meet the increasing needs of consumers, broiler raisers tend to intensity the management system through feeding higher quality feeds, use of medicine and vaccine to reduce the mortality rate as well as the possibility of residue in the product. On the other hand. Consumers become more choosy about the products for consumption, therefore it is necessary to find alternative replacers ogf medicine /vaccine in order to produce healthy and save meet. The present trial was intended to test the use of powder of herbal plant sambiloto (androgaphis paniculata Nees) at 6 g/kg body weight in the ration, and 0.8 ml/kg body weight in the form of drinking water for 6 duys, and probiotic ( Probion) at 5 g/kg ration. The trial was caried out for 18 days using 128 broiler chicken of 2 weeks old. Devided into 4 treatments and 4 block containing 8 birds each. Results indicated that the use sambiloto either in the ration or drinking water and the use ofo probiotic (Probion) in the ration significantly protect the chicken from disease, and increase feed intake. The use of probiotic (Probion) tend to be more efective in reducing abdominal fats content and hence resulted in more compact carcass yield.
