This research consisted of (1) species diversity, species richness, and evenness of spiders in rice which located in different distance from mixed garden (potential source of spiders), (2) colorization of spiders into richfields, and (3) composition of spiders species in each period of crops growth. The result showed that different distance of rice location to mixed garden had no significant different on species diversity, species richness, and evenness or vegetation, and ballooming. Composition of spiders species in richfields changed in each period of crops growth mwhich indicated that there had already succession of species in each period of crops growth.en
