Abstract: This research was conducted to study hematogical profiles (total erythrocyte, haemoglobin concentration, and packed cell volume) of pregnant ewes administered 15 and 30 mL of jamu veteriner during pregnancy. Fifteen ewes weighing between 15-25 kg were divided into 3 groups i.e., ewes without jamu veteriner administration (control), ewes administered with 15 and 30 mL of jamu veteriner. Jamu veteriner was administered after 1,5 month pregnancy until parturition. Blood samples were taken from the jugular vein monthly during the five months of pregnancy. The result showed that the ewes administered with dosage 30 mL of jamu veteriner had the highest total erythrocyte, haemoglobin concentration, and hematocrit value as compared to the other groups. The control groups had the lowest total erythrocyte, haemoglobin concentration, and hematocrit value as compared to the other groups. The number of total erythrocyte, haemoglobin concentration, and hematocrit value increased during the early pregnancy and decreased during late pregnancy. Haemoglobin concentration was not change significantly during pregnancy. It was concluded that the administration of jamu veteriner at the dosage 15 and 30 mL could improve the haematological conditions of ewes during pregnancy.
