Abstract: Kuantan Singingi Regency have a very high agricultural potential to be developed. Chili on of product at this region is the most important vegetable crop in the terms of area and production, compared with other vegetables in the Regency Kuantan Singingi. In addition to opportunities offered by the pepper agribusiness there are some issues that still-need to get attention. The solution offered to solve these problems are: agribusiness training and dissemination of variety candidates of chili, so that farmers can choose the variety candidates that can adapt and will be developed in their area. By exploiting the potential of genetic and genotype x environment interactions, it can be developed new varieties that specific environment. The result of this dissemination is promising lines of chili that can adapt well in environments dissemination. Those varieties were IPB-7009015, IPB-701S008, IPB and IPB-6002046-6002005. IPB-6002046 was the candidate varieties are named Selekta IPB, IPB-6002005 while the candidate varieties are named Seloka IPB. Seloka IPB has been launched by the Minister of Agriculture on October 3, 2010. Kuantan Singingi Farmers interested to develop varieties of Selekta IPB and Pesona IPB. The training of chili cultivation technology appropriate to the concept of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) can be done well. Partner farmers interested to plant chili in a large scale. Fanner groups other than the partner is also interested in large scale to plant chili. It is expected that farmers groups and other to implement technology that chili cultivation in accordance with the concept of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) in industrial scale.
