Analisis Hubungan Kekerabatan Manggis (Garcinia mangostana L.) Terhadap Kerabat Dekatnya Melalui Penanda Morfologi

Abstract

Mangosteen and its relatives of the genus Garcinia L. are belong to the family Guttiferae which contains about 35 genera and up to 800 species. Guttifferae diversity found across the Indonesian archipelago. In order to elucidate genetic diversity of mangosteen and its relatives, morphological analysis were appearance. Analysis of relationship through morpological in 22 accessions of G. mangostana and their close relatives can revealed the phylogenetic relationship. Analysis of similarity to form 7 groups with distance of similarity coefficient between 0.36-1.00. The diversity of morphological characters, obtained 26 caharacters that can be observed that 74 (100%) polymorphic characters. Results of analysis showed similarities G. celebica has a close similarity with G. mangostana and G. malaccensis.
