Abstract: The study about youth attitude was conducted in order to identify about kinds of behavior that would be performed by the youth towards agricultural livelihood. By identifying their attitude, people could be able to estimate response from youth about agricultural livelihood. The objectives of this study were: 1). To identify youth attitude towards agricultural activities. 2). To identify internal characteristics of youth, socialization from parents, mass media exposure, and interaction with peers. 3). To analyze the correlations between internal factors and youth attitude towards agricultural livelihood. 4). To analyze the correlations between socialization from parents, mass media exposure, and interaction with peers with youth attitude towards agricultural livelihood. 5). To analyze the correlations between perception toward rural condition and youth attitude towards agricultural livelihood. A number of 65 respondents were taken as sample. This study resulted several important outputs namely, 1). Majority of youth supported and agreed to work at agricultural setting 2). Majority of the youth were categorized late adolescence, low level of education, their parents were owner of their own farmland, low level in farmland mastery, low level in cosmopolite, low frequency from parents on telling about agriculture, average level on youth involvement in helping parents in farming activities, low frequency on mass media exposure, less than 20 minutes in every opportunity of watching television and also listening radio, low interaction with peers on agricultural sector, and good perception toward rural condition 3). There were several variables correlated to youth attitude towards agricultural livelihood i.e. age, gender, youth involvement in helping parents in farming activities, intensity on watching television, closeness with peers, and perception towards further condition of agricultural development.
