Morfologi dan histomorfometri testis dan epididymis kambing kacang (Capra sp.) dan domba lokal (Ovis sp.)

Abstract

This research was conducted to obsurve the comparation of morphology and histomorphometry of testicular and epididymal tissues of kacang goats and local sheep at the same age (1-1.5 years old). The data were collected under macroscopic and microscopic observation. The circumference, weight and volume of kacang goat testis were smaller (P<0.05) than that of local sheep. Kacang goat had more number of seminiferous tubule per mm2 testis area (P<0.01) than local sheep. The tubular ephitelial lining in kacang goat was thinner (P<0.01) than that of local sheep.
