Shoreline changes along Juntinyuat coast located at north side of West Java was studied by developing a model particularly arround PPI Glayem jetty built to protect a fisheries harbour inside a river mouth. Waves that break at coast were predicted by using winds data at the offshore. The longshore sediment transports were mostly from south-east to north-west. Then result of shoreline model was validated by shoreline acquired from QuickBird imagery in 2008. At south-east of jetty, sedimentation occurred and the result of the model agree well with that of image. Theoritically sedimentation at that side resulting as a consequence of sediment transport was block by jetty. In contrast, erosion occurred at north-west site of jetty which caused by eddys, wave diffraction and no supply of sediment. However due to existance of ponds along the shore, the erosion is only about 35 m. The model has to be adjusted by lowering the sediment transport. The result of the model agreed well with that of image near the jetty especially in the south-eastern side but discrepencies occurred further away from the jetty.en
