dc.description.abstract | The aim of this research: 1) Determine of land suitability class of perennial crops in the study area; 2) Determine of economic suitability class in the study area; and 3) Determine of feasibility level of farming system of perennial crops in the study area. The data analysis using Automated Land Evaluation System (ALES) to determine the physical land suitability class and economic analysis and Geographic Information System (GIS) using software of Arc View for the visualization of Spatial Utilization Map of perennial crops. The result of research show of the land unit (LU) 1 and 4 have land suitability class of S2rc (Moderately Suitable with limiting factor of rooting condition); The SL 2 have land suitability class of S3rc dominantly and S2rc (Marginally Suitable and Moderately Suitable with limiting factor of rooting condition); The SL 5 and 6 have land suitability class of S3rc (Marginally Suitable with limiting factor of rooting condition); The SL 3 have land suitability class of S3rc dominantly and Nrc (Marginally Suitable and Not Suitable with limiting factor of rooting condition). The result of land suitability analysis show the spatial utilization for cacao development is profitable (Rp. 8,000,000 to Rp. 25,000,000 per year) there are in SL 1, SL 2, and SL 4 about 40,825 Ha with land suitability class of S2 and SL 3, SL5, and SL 6 about 36,415 Ha with land suitability class of S3 (Rp. 1,000,000 to Rp. 8,000,000 per year). For coconut development that beneficial are in SL 1, SL 2, SL 3, and SL 4 about 64,151 Ha with land suitability class of S3 with benefit level of Rp. 1,000,000 to Rp. 8,000,000 per year) whereas of SL 5 and SL 6 about 13,085 Ha have land suitability class N1 is mean not benefit. | en |
