dc.description.abstractStrawberries (Fragaria vesca) are the fruit of herbaceous plants which were first discovered in Chile, the United States. Fruit confectionery or candied fruit is fruit preserved with sugar. Candied processing can be grouped into wet and dry process. The different types of wet and dry candied views of the process after a soaking in sugar solution. The production of fruit confectionery is by soaking (impregnation of sugar into fruit), washing, and drying process. Candied strawberries business used the concept of a business plan. Selection of business due to potential prospects and a good target market. One thing that became surplus of this new business is candied strawberries are still scarce in the community so that it can be an alternative to snacks that are healthy and delicious.To open greater interest of investment in agro-industries, particularly commodity strawberries, we need a tool that can easily provide information about the commodity and can help potential investors to determine the appropriate business planning to run in this field. The design process undertaken to determine the Business Plan: Net Present Value (NPV) of business, B / C Ratio, IRR, Pay Back Period (PBP) and Break Even Point, which will determine the business whether viable to run or not. The process of calculation are financial analysis / feasibility studies, market potential of candied strawberry industry are still open, the location chosen for this industry is Ciwidey with certain considerations. Based on the calculation of costs and production capacity, the sale price of candied strawberries were Rp 125.000/kg. Total production capacity of 13.520 kg / year with a workforce of 12 people. Based on the analysis of financially, this project NPV Rp. 1.070.841.068, -; IRR at 33%; B / C ratio of 2.4, and PBP for 4 years and 4 months so it can be concluded that the Candied StrawberriesIndustry is worth to establish. Based on the sensitivity analysis, the industry will be established if it is not feasible to achieve price increases of raw materials for 22.3% or decline in selling prices by 12.4%en
