dc.description.abstractThis research proposes a method for optimizing adequacy of macro nutrients needs of human using Genetic Algorithm. This study aims to develop a system that determine the composition of food that fulfill daily nutrients need. Genetic Algorithm method provides solutions to problems that optimal parameter values by searching on the domain of the solution based on the principles of natural evolution. The best accuracy generated by the comparison between a system with a target is 75 populations. The result of the research shows that percentage of average accuracy obtained for energy is 89.64%, for protein is 82.50%, for fat is 71.54%, and for carbohydrate is 89.20%.en
