Abstract: Bogor district is one of oyster mushroom production in west Java with the capacity of 260,124 kg (based on data in 2001). Oyster mushroom can be produced to be various food product such as saurkraut, crispy, crackers and other vegetable products. There is no other products such as oyster cracker in Bogor area at the moment This research's objectives were to study the opportunity of oyster mushroom industry establishment in Bogor and to analyze it feasibility. The study was conducted by focusing on market analysis, marketing technique, technology, operation management, financial issues and juridical aspect. The result of this research indicated that the appropriate location for the oyster mushroom industry establishment is in Ciawi area and occupies 24 work labors. The infestations is approximately more than Rp.418,399,200,- and the infestation criterion describes of this industry will be profitable in the long run. The criteria shows that NVP is Rp. 32J, 937,500,- with the invest rate of 20 %. IRR is 37 % with net B/C is 1.99and pay back period is 1.9 years. The sensitivity analysis shows that the increasing raw material and input up to 15 percent will end up with NPV of more than zero
