Persepsi Masyarakat Penambang dan Pengolah Kapur Terhadap Aktivitas Penambangan di desa Kawasan Ekokarst Gombong Selatan, Kebumen, Jawa Tengah

Abstract

Karst are recognized by IUCN as an essential ecosystem that needs to be protected thus some areas strictly prohibited from mining activities. Nevertheless, apart from being an Ecokarst region, mining activities at local scale can still be abserved in Rediasi Village, South Gombong. Therefore, in order to charge this profession as miners, their attitude, behaviour and perception must be understood. The objectives of the study is to determine and understabd the perception of limestone miners and lime producers towards mining activities in South Gombong Ecokarst Region. The specific objective is to understand and determine the behaviour and attitude of limestone miners and lime poducers in South Gombong Ecokarst, to determine factors effecting, behaviour, attitudes and perceptions to determine and understand the benefit of natural resources other than limestone
