Perilaku penggunaan internet sebagai sumber informasi peternakan (kasus pada mahasiswa S1 Fakultas Peternakan Institut Pertanian Bogor)

Abstract

The Livestock industry development should be followed by the human development for the industry itself. The Faculty of Animal Husbandry held an important role in the human development for the livestock industry. With d c i e n t information about livestock, the education process will become better. The main benefit of the internet is it can be served and- spread information in less time than any other media. The aim of this research is to study the behavior of the college students in using internet for livestock information Data was collected in The Faculty of Animal Husbandry . Bogor Agriculture University b m April 19" until May 19" 2006. The result shows that most of the students use internet for widening their knowledge and to supported their study. The internet exposure among students is in high level. Correlation appears between characteristic and environment with the internet exposure. Correlation also appear between internet exposures to the student's behavior in using internet, especially in the knowledge aspect Key words: livestock information, inlernef, behavior
