Abstract

Sun bears inhabit lowland forest of soutfieast Asia. They are one of the rarest bears in the world. Theu number are steadily declining due to habitat loss resulting h m excessive logging and conversion for agricdture area, the pet frade, poaching for meat and use of their glad bladders in traditional medicine. Zoo park is the arlificial environment to captive wild animal h m extinction-The aim of this experience is studying the feed intake and nutrient digestibility in Malayan sun bear at Ragunan Zoo Park in Jakarta.
