Pengetahuan masyarakat dalam Pengelolaan Hutan Bersama Masyarakat (PHBM): kasus di Desa Bojong Koneng dan Karang Tengah, Kecamatan Babakan Madang, Bogor, Jawa Barat

Abstract

CBFM is a system of forest resource management carried out jointly by Perum Perhutani and rural communities or by Perum Perhutani, rural communitiy and other stakeholders with the spirit of sharing so their common interest to achieve sustainability of the functions and benefits of forest resources can be realized in an optimal and proportionate. This study focused on the goals, rights and obligations among barties at CBFM and community knowledge in forest cultivation activities. Knowledge society and Perum Perhutani compared with CBFM guidelines and letter agreements. This reaseach was held in October to November 2010 at Bojong Koneng and Karang Tengah villages, Sub district of Babakan Madang. It took 60 respondents from Bojong Koneng and Karang Tengah villages. The data were collected by interviewing responden, observation and secondary data recording. The Data processed using descriptively analyzed. Society of Bojong Koneng and Karang Tengah Villages has knowledge not unlike Perum Perhutani in forest cultivation activities. Forest cultivation activities are prevalent in the community consists of the activities of land preparation, seedling, planting, maintenance, and harvesting. Land preparation activities consist of land clearing, planting and processing lines making the soil. Activities seedling consists of downloading and seeding as well as purchase of seeds ready to plant. Planting activities consist of the determination of spacing, mounting stake, making the planting hole and planting. Maintenance activities consist of cleaning weeds, stitching and fertilization. Harvesting activities in the community in accordance with the harvest season. The level of society knowledge and Perhutani against objectives, rights and obligations in system is very low. Low level of society knowledge due to socialization CBFM performed at least as well also caused by passive community in the effort to figure out.
