dc.description.abstractCooperatives have a strategic role to support dairy development in Indonesia. KUD Bayongbong is one of the co-located in Garut who run cattle business as its core business. However, the contribution of dairy cows in terms of profits and members who are involved varies inversely with the ability KUD Bayongbong in supplying milk and the level of loyalty of its members in promoting the dairy cattle business. Based on these problems, it is necessary to fix an appropriate strategy in solving problems that occur. This research has the goal (1) identify and analyze factors that influence the external and internal business development KUD Bayongbong dairy cows, and (2) analyze and recommend alternative strategies that could be applied in the development of dairy cattle in accordance with KUD Bayongbong . The analysis tools of environmental organization analysis through analiysis situation, matrix IFE and EFE, the IE matrix and SWOT analysis. The results of analysis conducted on dairy cattle business KUD Bayongbong show, focused strategy to increase capacity and improve product quality and service required of members. To support the implementation of these strategies also must seek KUD Bayongbong in setting organizational goals clear and concrete, improving the quality of human resources and service to members.en
