| dc.description.abstract | Mangrove forest is a very unique tropical forest ecosystem. Alas Purwo National Park (APNP) prossesses some natural mangrove forest. The development of mangrove acotourism in APNP has accoured before 2007 by APNP and Desa Sumbersari. However, it is not easy to establish ecotourism which contibutes to the satisfication of the visitors, well-being of the local people and ecological sustainability. It is worrying when the term "ecotourism' is just used for marketing of certain tourism products with a lack of stakeholder' understanding of ecotourism principlea. Therefore, evaluating mangrove ecotourism development in APNP should beconducted. Tehe objectives of this research are to identify mangrove ecotourism potentials at APNP, evaluate the curent tourism activity at Bedul APNP and its development into mangrove ecotourism by cross checkingh it to principles of ecotourism, and finally, arrange recommendation to APNP regarding mangrove ecotourism implementation. | en |
