dc.description.abstractProcessing of animal waste such as sheep manure is one alternative to prevent environmental damage from animal waste. Until now, the processing of sheep manure to produce fertilizer is not optimized yet. Difficulty to get commercial bioactivator in Karawang causes this problem. To enrich the fertilizer, banana trunk could be used because of its high kalium content. This research purpose was to know the quality of organic fertilizer made using local microorganism of tapai. The data of organic fertilizer were analyzed using completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 replications. The data from planlation test were analyzed using completely randomized factorial design with 3 replications. Result showed that organic fertilizer made using activator local microorganism of tapai 1% and local microorganism of tapai 5% have same quality, but both of them have higher quality than the organic fertilizer made using activator local microorganism of tapai 10%. All plants using fertilizer have higer productivity than plant without fertilizer. It is concluded that fertiliezer usage of local mircroorganism of tapai 1% as an activator with dosage of 240 g have the higest productivity.en
