The objectives of this experiment were to study vegetable crops which have good response and to find the optimal interval time of liquid fertilizer application from tapioca wastewater to increase vegetable crops yield. The experiment was conducted in a greenhouse at the Cikabayan Experimental Station, IPB. from August 1998 until January 1999. The treatment of this experiment were application of liquid fertilizer (organic fertilizer) once (L1), twice (L2) and three times a week (L3) compared with control (anorganic fertilizer) (La) on spinach (T1), swamp cabbage (T2 and mustard greens (T3). The results showed that the fermentation of tapioca industry wastewater as long as six weeks could increase the pHfrom acid condition (pH 3,74 - 4,10) to neutral condition (pH 6,50 - 7,00). Application of tapioca industry wastewater as liquid fertilizer (organic fertilizer) once, twice and three times a week showed no significant results compared with control (anorganic fertilizer) on spinach, swamp cabbage and mustard greens.en
