The research was objected to study the effects of irradiation of UV-types and irradiation periods on the agronomical characters, physiology and biochemistry response of Sambung Nyawa in the fisrt year. The second year experiment was objected to optimalize of fisrt year results to increase the flavonoid content of Sambung Nyata plant by fertilizer treatments. Type of UV affected the plant growth, plant biomass, cinnamic acid content and PAL activity, while irradiation period affected plant growth and biomass. The combination treatment of UV-type and irradiation period increased plant growth, plant biomass, leaf protein and cinnamic acid content. There were no significant effects of fertilizers on UV-explosured plant in biochemical properties of Sambung Nyawa plant and cinnamic acid production.en
