| dc.description.abstract | This study was carried out at the Biology Laboratory of The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and at The Artificial Insemination Centre Singosari Malang from August to December 1998. The aim of this experiment is to design the proper methods for sperms freezing after sephadex G-200 filtration. The works consisted of 10 repeated experiments were sperms were treated with extracellular cryoprotectant, either TCM-199+10% serum + 14% egg yolk on tris aminomethane + 14% egg yolk. Sperm vitality, motility, capacitation, and acrosome reaction were recorded. The results showed that TCM-199 could maintain the quality of sperm better than tris aminomethane. The freezing process induces capacitation and acrosomal reaction. | en |
