Penambahan Modul Updating Data pada OLAP Berbasis Web untuk Persebaran Hotspot di Wilayah Indonesia Menggunakan Palo 2.5

Abstract

This research is continues the previous work in developing data warehouse and web-based OLAP for hotspot distribution in Indonesia using Palo 2.0. This research build a module to update data in data warehouse so that new hotspot data can be in OLAP application. Hotspot data are provided by Kementrian Lingkungan Hidup (KLH). Data warehouse adopts the three-tier architecture which contains 3 layers: bottom layer (data warehouse server), middle layer (OLAP Server), and top layer (web browser). Software used in this research are PHP version 5 and Palo 2.5 as OLAP server. In addition to the updating data module, this research yields aggregation values of number of hotspot for regions in Indonesia start from level of island to level of district the year 2005. Information about distribution of hotspot is presented in the form of crosstabs and interesting graphs. For Graphs are presented in the form of bar and pie plot.
