dc.description.abstractEcological footprint concept has developed at foreign country for valuation of carrying capacity a region. But there, no many institution apply these approach to developing their activities to set a management plan. Ecological footprint evaluate is analysis ofthe ability that related with their productivity, and carrying capacity of area to sustaining activity in the future. This approach used to arrange transmigration concept in Wetar Island: Based on local need approach, and global productivity, assessing the Wetar Island capacity to sustaining of people reach 125.425 person. That mean, both terrestrial and marine resources of Wetar Island may taking care ofpeople until 125.425 without import ofresource to Wetar Island.
