Abstract: Simping population (Placuna placenta) represent a type of benthic biota and it immobility. This species disperse in any coastal and territorial water of Indonesia such as in north Banten coast, Bekasi coast, Tuban, Gresik and Kalimantan. Dispersion of simping in Banten coastal having differences with other sites. The study of spatial distribution needed as basic information to manage of simping resource. Spatial distribution cover pattern of population structure, environmental influence like water quality, and also dispersion indices. Statistical analysis (ANOVA) where needed to test difference between deepness and location of station that influenced from river current. Result of this research indicate tend of dispersion from 1,49-3,55, and the near shore more uniform (Id = 2,27). The abundance have similar pattern with water quality distribution at significant level above 90%. There are no differences between stations in confidence limit 90%, but it have any difference to deepness.
