dc.description.abstractTen of the best national cassava (Manihot esculenta Crantz) clones were grown in a yield trial on a clay to clay loam alluvial soil in Sitiung II. West Sumatera. The Soil was fertilized at a rate of 200 kg of Urea. 200 kg of triple superphosphate and 100 kg of muriete of potash/ha. Adira2, W 1166, No.528, and W 1517 were the best yielders, producing 40.552, 39.308, 38.640 and 34.641 tons of fresh tubers/ha respectively.id
