The Low light intencity was influence to plant growthing. This experiment was use seed from commersial seeds and collection seeds of IPB. This experiment was use the 0 % shading level and 50 % shading level. The objective of this experiment was to evaluate genotype of chilli in low light intencity. The experiment was conducted in Leuikopo, Dramaga, Bogor, from April to December 2008. This experiment was arranged in nested design with two factors and three replications. Te first factor was light intencity (full and low light intensity). The second factor was genotype (18 chili genotypes). The chilli genotypes were devided to 3 groups that is big chilli, wringkled chilli, and small sharp Spanish pepper. The result showed that IPB C64 (big chilli) and IPB C105 (wrinkled chilli) had high yield and tolerance to shading (low light intencity) to each groups.id
