Sistem Informasi Penunjang Strategi dalam Meningkatkan Daya Saing Bisnis Komoditas Teh

Abstract

The important factors in a complex tea market are information about stock and selling condition, as well as market situation. These information were utilized not only in controlling the day by day operation, but also to provide strategic formulation needed by their executive. The information system of Kantor Pemasaran Bersarna PTPN (SI-KPB PTPN) is developed by using object oriented approach, so that the syatem can be developed easily and closely matches to reality. The system is implemented using Microsoft Visual Basic 5.0 and Microsoft Access 97. The SI-KPB PTPN consists of four sub-systems, namely auction, selling, stock and others, such as pricing, buyer and market situation.
