dc.description.abstractStudy on ompores formation in inoculated biack pepper (Piper nigmm L) tissue obtained from roots, stems and leaves were conducted at different temperature of incubations. The tissues were inoculated with two compatibility type isolates and incubated at 16,20,24 and 28'C. Oospores were formed in all tissues when incubated .at 16, 20 and 24bC. However, at temperature 28'C, oospores were formed only in stems and leaves. 'he optimum temperature for oospores formation in all tissues was 20'C Oospores were also formed in inoculated leaves tissue in the green house.id
