The most important weed species of Indonesia and the habitats that they infest are listed. Strategies for weed management in annual and perennial crops are outlined. Recent research in Indonesia includes no tillage, the more efficient use of herbicides (low vol. applicators, mixtures of compounds and spray additives), herbicide-resistant crops and control of aquatic weeds. The dissemination of information and organization of weed management in Indonesia are also considered briefly.id
