dc.description.abstractThe production of 13'1 in Indonesia is carried out by thermal neutron of natural telurium target, followed by the separation of the radiation with wet distillation. In this research the separation of l3'l from 2 3 5f~is sion was studied. A depleted UO2 (0.4% 235~ta)r get was exposed in neutron flux of 1013 n ~ r ns-ec~ for 10 minutes. Then target was dissolved in mixture of HN03, Cr03, and H2S04. After eliminating of nitrat and rutenium, they were reduced by H2C204 and the distillate were caught by solution of Na2S03 lmglml. From 0.2 g UO;! (0.4% 2 3 5 ~th)e distillate of Na l3'1 of 0.41 pCi was obtained by the separation efficiency was 50%.id
