dc.description.abstractNational Parks are natural conservation sites with nature ecosystems which are managed using zonation systems, utilized for research, science, education, cultivation, tourism, and recreation. In order to study plant species diversity and their utilization, a study was conducted to some ethnic groups or to local people inhabited surrounding the Bogani Nani Wartabone National Park and Gunung Ambang Nature Reserve. It was recorded not less than 71 pIant species utilized for food, spices, medicines, thathing for kitchen utencils, thathing/handicrafts for furniture, and their Ieaves for wrapper. Ethnobotanical aspects,conservation efforts and processing methods or other utilization done by local people were discussed in this paper.id
