dc.description.abstractAn experiment was carried out to investigate the survival of Newcastle Disease virus vaccine in feed- carrier. ND virus of La-sota strain survived for as long as 5 hours when stored in room te~nperature (28°C) in pellets made from rice, wheat, corn and sago flours. In ovo examination showed that titre of the virus declined during the course of storage (Pc0.05). The highest titre found in. wheat flour pellet folloyed by vaccine sto, red.+ i,n pellets made of rice, corn and sago, but the difference was not .significant. h!loreover result of Gaccination trial ith the La-sota vaccine using the pellets as feed- carrier showed that the level of antibody responses irlcreased only in chicken which received ND vaccine delivered by wheat and corn pellets.id
