Adult femaler P ~amwn'cm~a L werea topically treated with 100 g of the juvenile analogue fenoxycarb and given impregnated food containing 100 ppm of fenoxycarb. Treatment led to decrease volumes and activities of the corpora allata (CA) glands taken from the insects on the fourth and fifth reproductive cycles. In fenoxycarb-topically treated animals, the volume of CA taken from the fourth reproductive cycle was slightly smaller than those from control animals, although the difference was not slgaiticant. Both topically only and combination (topid md impregnated) of fenoxycarb treatment significantly reduced CA volume in the fifth reproductive cycle after treatment when compared with the control treatment.id
