| dc.description.abstract | A feeding trial was conducted to determine the optimum level ofprotein and energy toprotein (El..) ratio for the growth of tambaqui (Colossoma macropomum) finserling. Fingerlings of tambaqui (0.9 f 0.05g) were fed semipunfid diets containing 3937 and 45%protein, and with energy toprotein ratio of 8.5 and 10.5 kcal DE/g. The f i b s were fed to satidion three times a day for 42-day readng time. The results showed that the whole-body protein content decreased and the lipid content increased as dietary E/P r d o increased. There was no significant differences @ > 0.05) in protein retention (PR), feed consumption (FC), and survival rate among treatments. Based on the evaluation of the daily growth rafc (DGR), the whole-body protein and lipid content, it can be concluded that tambaqui fingerling requires 37% of protein and energy to protein ratio of 8.7 kcal DE/g of @ < 0,OS). | id |
