Abstract

The problem that is faced by shrimp farmers in recently are the price of inputs continue increase, at the same time this was government policy that is decrease of subsidy of agricultural sector and fuel subsidy. At the other side, the price of shrimp products are very fluctuation and tendency decrease. Therefore, In general, Shrimp farmers would be produced of it by efficient. Beside that, there is conflict between stakeholders on shrimp culture development zone. The aims of this research are (a) to assess efficiency rating of variable aqua-inputs on shrimp culture (b) to assess economic, social and ecology impacts on current shrimp culture zone management (c) to design of scenario on sustainable shrimp culture zone development. The research has been conducted in coastal areas Dompu Regency, West Nusa Tenggara by using survey, observation, and stakeholders’ participatory methods. The collected data have been analyzed by using efficiency, laboratory and trade off analyses (TOA).
