| dc.description.abstract | Penurunan produktivitas perkebunan kelapa sawit yang telah melewati umur produktif optimal (>25 tahun) menimbulkan tantangan finansial yang signifikan bagi perusahaan perkebunan. PT Agricinal mengalami penurunan drastis produktivitas Tandan Buah Segar (TBS) dari 6,41 ton/ha/tahun pada tahun 2020 menjadi 3,92 ton/ha/tahun pada tahun 2022, jauh di bawah standar ideal sebesar 25–30 ton/ha/tahun. Kondisi ini mendorong pengambilan keputusan peremajaan (replanting) pada tahun 2022, namun mengakibatkan periode tidak produktif selama 3–4 tahun (Tanaman Belum Menghasilkan/TBM) tanpa adanya pendapatan operasional. Peremajaan (replanting) kelapa sawit merupakan fase kritis dalam siklus usaha perkebunan yang sering menimbulkan tantangan finansial akibat terhentinya produksi dan pendapatan selama beberapa tahun. Dalam konteks ini, upaya inovatif diperlukan untuk menjaga keberlanjutan arus kas dan mendukung kelayakan bisnis perkebunan. Salah satu strategi yang mulai banyak diterapkan adalah tumpangsari, yaitu pemanfaatan lahan dengan menanam komoditas lain secara bersamaan, seperti pisang Barangan, guna mengisi kekosongan pendapatan selama masa tanaman belum menghasilkan (TBM). Penerapan strategi ini tidak hanya berpotensi meningkatkan efisiensi lahan, namun juga memperkuat daya saing dan keberlanjutan usaha perkebunan kelapa sawit di tengah dinamika industri yang semakin kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan finansial strategi tumpangsari pisang Barangan pada lahan replanting seluas 1.000 ha sebagai solusi optimalisasi pendapatan Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan studi kasus pada PT Agricinal. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan manajemen perusahaan dan observasi langsung ke lapangan, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari laporan keuangan, data produksi, serta dokumen pendukung lainnya. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kelayakan finansial seperti Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Net Benefit-Cost Ratio (Net B/C), dan Payback Period (PP), dilengkapi dengan analisis sensitivitas untuk menguji ketahanan proyek terhadap perubahan variabel kunci, serta analisis SWOT untuk mengidentifikasi faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan strategi tumpangsari pisang Barangan pada lahan replanting kelapa sawit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan tumpangsari pisang Barangan memberikan peningkatan signifikan terhadap kelayakan finansial usaha, dengan nilai NPV meningkat sebesar 66,% dari Rp58,63 miliar menjadi Rp97,46 miliar; IRR meningkat dari 25% menjadi 40%; Net B/C meningkat dari 1,39 menjadi 1,50 ; serta Payback Period memendek dari 6 tahun menjadi 4 tahun. Analisis sensitivitas membuktikan bahwa proyek tetap tangguh terhadap fluktuasi harga CPO, biaya operasional, dan variasi produktivitas TBS. Strategi tumpangsari ini efektif dalam menutup kesenjangan arus kas selama periode TBM, meningkatkan efisiensi pemanfaatan lahan, serta memperkuat daya saing bisnis perkebunan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan tumpangsari pisang Barangan pada lahan replanting kelapa sawit layak dan strategis untuk diterapkan secara luas sebagai model agribisnis berkelanjutan The decline in productivity of oil palm plantations that have passed their optimal productive age (>25 years) poses significant financial challenges for plantation companies. PT Agricinal experienced a drastic decline in Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) productivity from 6.41 tons/ha/year in 2020 to 3.92 tons/ha/year in 2022, far below the ideal standard of 25–30 tons/ha/year. This condition prompted the decision to replant in 2022, but resulted in a 3–4 year non-productive period (Immature Plant/TBM) with no operational income.This research aims to analyze the financial feasibility of Barangan banana intercropping strategy on 1,000 ha replanting land as a revenue optimization solution. Oil palm replanting is a critical phase in the plantation business cycle that often poses financial challenges due to the cessation of production and income for several years. In this context, innovative efforts are needed to maintain cash flow sustainability and support the feasibility of the plantation business. One strategy that is increasingly being implemented is intercropping, which involves utilizing land by planting other commodities simultaneously, such as Barangan bananas, to fill the income gap during the immature plant period (TBM). The implementation of this strategy not only has the potential to increase land use efficiency but also strengthens the competitiveness and sustainability of the oil palm plantation business amidst increasingly complex industry dynamics. This research aims to analyze the financial feasibility of the Barangan banana intercropping strategy on 1,000 ha of replanting land as a revenue optimization solution The research method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive approach with a case study at PT Agricinal. Primary data were collected through in-depth interviews with company management and direct field observations, while secondary data were obtained from financial reports, production data, and other supporting documents. Analysis was conducted using financial feasibility methods such as Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Net Benefit-Cost Ratio (Net B/C), and Payback Period (PP), complemented by sensitivity analysis to test the project's resilience to changes in key variables, as well as SWOT analysis to identify internal and external factors affecting the success of the Barangan banana intercropping strategy on oil palm replanting land. The research results show that the implementation of Barangan banana intercropping provides a significant improvement in business financial feasibility, with NPV value increasing by 66.8% from IDR 58.63 billion to IDR 97.46 billion; IRR increased from 25% to 40%; Net B/C increased from 1.39 to 1.50; and Payback Period shortened from 6 years to 4 years. Sensitivity analysis proves that the project remains resilient to fluctuations in CPO prices, operational costs, and FFB productivity variations. This intercropping strategy is effective in closing the cash flow gap during the TBM period, increasing land use efficiency, and strengthening the competitiveness of the plantation business. This research concludes that the implementation of Barangan banana intercropping on oil palm replanting land is feasible and strategic to be widely applied as a sustainable agribusiness model. | - |
