Abstract: RAKHA IZZAN AZHAR. Evaluasi Tata Letak Ruangan pada PT. XYZ menggunakan Metode Blocplan. Dibimbing oleh Mrr. Lukie Trianawati. Perancangan tata letak ruangan yang efisien berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kelancaran proses produksi dan produktivitas perusahaan. PT. XYZ masih mengalami permasalahan tata letak yang menyebabkan jarak perpindahan material dan aliran aktivitas belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi dan merancang ulang tata letak ruangan dengan mempertimbangkan hubungan kedekatan antar departemen menggunakan Activity Relationship Chart (ARC). Metode yang digunakan adalah algoritma blocplan dengan bantuan software blocplan, menggunakan data primer dari observasi lapangan dan data sekunder dari studi literatur. Tahapan penelitian meliputi identifikasi departemen, penyusunan ARC, serta pengolahan data untuk menghasilkan 20 alternatif tata letak yang dievaluasi berdasarkan nilai Rel-Dist Score. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa layout 17 merupakan tata letak paling efisien dengan nilai Rel-Dist Score sebesar 0,78 dan Adjacency Score sebesar 0,70. Meskipun layout 10 memiliki nilai Rel-Dist Score yang sama, secara fungsional kurang optimal. Layout 17 direkomendasikan sebagai tata letak terbaik karena mampu meningkatkan kelancaran produksi, menurunkan jarak perpindahan material, serta meningkatkan efektivitas dan produktivitas kerja

Efficient facility layout design plays an important role in improving production flow and company productivity. PT. XYZ still experiences layout problems that result in suboptimal material handling distances and inefficient activity flows. This study aims to evaluate and redesign the facility layout by considering the closeness relationships between departments using the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC). The method applied is the blocplan algorithm with the support of blocplan software, utilizing primary data obtained from field observations and secondary data from literature studies. The research stages include department identification, ARC development, and data processing to generate 20 alternative layouts, which are evaluated based on the Rel-Dist Score. The analysis results indicate that layout 17 is the most efficient design, with a Rel-Dist Score of 0.78 and an Adjacency Score of 0.70. Although layout 10 has the same Rel-Dist Score, it is functionally less optimal. Therefore, layout 17 is recommended as the best facility layout, as it improves production flow, reduces material handling distances, and enhances overall work effectiveness and productivity.
